David D. Kalish

Biography

David D. Kalish brings to Coats + Bennett extensive experience in various aspects of patent preparation and prosecution, as well as management of patent related matters. He offers his clients expertise in patent preparation and prosecution primarily in mechanical, electromechanical and computer related arts, in addition to non-infringement, invalidity, and freedom to practice opinions.

Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Kalish worked as an engineer with Travelers Insurance and Champion Products, Inc. While at Travelers, he performed engineering analysis of construction parameters, machinery specifications, product liability evaluations, and conducted air quality testing. At Champion Products, he evaluated process flow and designed improved work flow systems.
